Content Translator (Afar af or Afan Oromo Proficient)

GlobeDock Academy is an e-learning platform in Ethiopia that provides high-quality, accessible education. We are looking for a Content Translator between Afar af/ Afan Oromo and Amharic to ensure the accuracy and cultural relevance of our educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate educational content accurately between Afar af/ Afan Oromo and Amharic, maintaining the original meaning and intent.
2. Adapt content to ensure it is culturally appropriate for the target language group.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, or related fields.
2. Proficiency in Afar af/ Afan Oromo and Amharic (both written and spoken).
3. Experience in translation is a plus.
4. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Skills and Expertise:

1. Strong communication skills in Afar af/ Afan Oromo and Amharic.
2. Ability to translate content accurately and maintain consistency.
3. Collaborative team player with previous experience in translation.
