Job Description

Globedock Academy is looking for a teacher passionate about teaching students and impacting outcomes. This is a position that requires interactive teaching. To qualify for this position, you should be detail-oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to teach and explain lessons for students in grades 7-12.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the student's learning progress through communication and utilizing educational materials depending on the course content.

• Teachers must be able to instruct subjects and reach students with engaging approach.

An ideal candidate should:

1. Have a passion for teaching and creating an impact in the field of education.

2. Have a strong subject knowledge in Maths/Natural Science/Social Science for grades 7 to 12.

3. Impeccable communication skills (English and Amharic) – verbal and written camera-facing skills.

4. Be able to teach in English & Amharic.

5. Be able to map theoretical knowledge to practical applications.

6. Be a self-driven quick learner and show adaptability to new concepts and tools

7. Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and think creatively

8. Be able to make learning easy for students from different backgrounds and of different cognitive abilities

Qualification and Requirement

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

2. Work Experience: 0 to 10 years

3. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written ones

4. Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual.

5. Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills

6. Strong organizational and time-management abilities
