GlobeDock Academy is looking for a dedicated E-Learning English Teacher who is passionate about teaching students and improving their communication, comprehension, and writing skills. This role requires interactive online teaching, engaging delivery, and the ability to make English both accessible and inspiring for students. To qualify for this position, you should be detail-oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

1. Facilitate student learning by delivering English lessons in an engaging and accessible manner.
2. Use effective communication methods and digital educational resources to support students’ language development.
3. Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills with a focus on practical application.
4. Deliver lessons that inspire confidence, creativity, and effective communication in English.
5. Create a supportive online learning environment for students of different learning levels and backgrounds.

An Ideal Candidate Should:

1. Have a passion for teaching English and creating meaningful impact in the field of education.
2. Possess strong subject knowledge in English for grades 7 to 12.
3. Demonstrate impeccable communication skills (English and Amharic) – both verbal and written – with strong camera-facing presentation abilities.
4. Be able to teach effectively in both English and Amharic.
5. Show the ability to connect theoretical English concepts (grammar, literature, writing) with real-world communication and practical usage.
6. Be a self-driven quick learner with adaptability to new tools and approaches.
7. Exhibit creativity in teaching methods and encourage students’ engagement.
8. Make learning inclusive and accessible for students from diverse educational backgrounds and cognitive abilities.

Qualification and Requirement

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related fields from a recognized university.
2. Work Experience: 0 to 10 years (prior experience in e-learning or online teaching is a plus).
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual.
5. Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
6. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
